Shift Your Perspective

Updated: Jan 22, 2020

There are times in life when it feels like God’s promises are so far away from us. But today, I would like to invite you to shift your perspective.

So, I don’t know about you but somedays, I just don’t feel like it.

We all have a purpose in this life, I am convinced. And that we (will) all have the opportunity to fulfill whatever God has called us to do I strongly believe. However the road to this: our dreams and God’s great visions and plans for our life can seem (and izzz) very rough, uncomfortable. Especially if we look at circumstances that makes us feel like we’re millions years apart from where we would want to be. It seems that the more we obey God, the the tougher it gets.

Nevertheless, even in the midst of really intense, depressing and non-favorable circumstances, we can still find hope and we can still have faith that things will change for the better and that they will align with God’s promises.

Today,

I want to invite you to shift a perspective that might have been focused on now.

I want you to realize that because, as followers of Christ, we ought to walk by faith and not by sight, we don’t have to put our focus on what we actually see and what is not working, but rather, we can put our focus on what we actually do not see. Why? Because a situation that you regard as dead or lost, can actually be what God will use to get you through.

I’ll go as far as saying that what you may see, is not necessarily the truth.

We do not have all the heavenly information, God does some of His best work in the dark. Oftentimes, what appears not to make sense for us, makes perfect sense for God and the fulfillment of His plan for us.

we have to trust Him even though we can’t understand

It’ll take patience, resilience, determination, obedience, crazy faith.*

It will be worth it.

Because you will become everything God has called you to be.

But know this: one cannot grow and be comfortable. Just like muscles, it is under pressure that we will grow, develop and stand out. This is the reason why it is tough.

You might want to give up but I know there's this little light, this flame inside you that will not go out. No matter how hard you tried, it won’t go out.

You should own it and do everything that is in your power to become it.

A New Perspective

Do not focus on what is, focus on what God said it would be. He will give you the desires of your heart. Your strong and long-lasting faith will have God miracling your life. (Yes, I’ve just made up that word. It means God will have THE vision he has shown you, come to pass!)

Stay strong,

You can do this

We can all do this,

💋
